Asylum.

Early 1970's anthology horror film written by the late Robert Bloch. A psychologist comes to a mental hospital for the incurably insane, where he is tasked to discover the head of the hospital turned patient. One by one, he listens to the patients tell their seemingly impossible horror stories about how they ended up there.
I saw this as a wee tyke at a drive-in theater. A bit cheesy, but it brought back fun memories.

Sounds like my cup of tea, like that film The House That Dripped Blood. I enjoy those early 1970s British anthology horror films.
