Tell me it wasn't the Pauly Shore version.

:lol: No, it's the Robert Zemeckis one.

Very fun!

After previously seeing The Thin Man we decided it was good enough that we should watch more of that series of films. Last night we watched the first sequel:

After the Thin Man [1936]
<=>"Continuing the fun in their NEW hit!"

Still excellent!

The cast included a young James Stewart and a young Penny Singleton.

His name you probably recognize. She went on to be "Blondie Bumstead" in more than two dozen films and later became the voice of "Jane Jetson".

The Greatest Showman.

Some breathtaking scenes in there.

Last night I watched:

Monkey Business [1931]
<=>"Their Clowning Achievement!"
<=+=+=>With the four Marx Brothers

According to IMDb:
<=>"The Irish government banned the film thinking it might encourage 'anarchic tendencies'. The ban was only lifted in 2000."

Last night we watched the next film in the Thin Man film series:

Another Thin Man [1939]
<=>"Their Merriest Hit! Mr. and Mrs. Thin Man Have a B-A-B-Y!"

Another excellent film!

I'll note two things:
<=>- The dance by René y Estela was incredible! It looked almost impossible.
<=>- One of the Three Stooges had a small part...played mostly straight.

Last night we watched:

The Quiet Earth [1985]
<=>"The End of the World is Just the Beginning"

As happens in Science Fiction movies, the last man on Earth finds out he isn't.

It is a reasonably good film. Don't go looking for lots of action or special effects, however...just story.

Hocus Pocus 2.

It's enjoyable for what it is.
