Recently I have gotten in to K-dramas and I just watched "The Beauty Inside" as well as "Always". Now I'm watching "Twenty Five Twenty One". It's really really good so far even though I'm only on episode 3. I'm about to take a break from the show twenty five twenty one and watch The Witch: Part 1 - which is another Korean film.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

So much fun! Can't believe it's taken me this long to watch these.

Last night we watched:

WereWolf of London [1935]
<=>"Beware! Terror strikes in the night!"

Essentially, a good drama.

Some observations from the IMDb trivia for this film:
>- This film made up much of its werewolf mythology out of whole cloth.
>- Although not the first werewolf film,
>-+this is considered to be the first feature length werewolf movie.

Even though this film is one of the classic Universal horror films it has Henry Hull as the werewolf, not Lon Chaney, Jr.—who more famously plays the werewolf in 1941.

Henry Hull does not play the first werewolf to appear in this film, that honor goes to Warner Oland. Henry Hull becomes a werewolf because he is bitten by Warner Oland's werewolf. You might recognize Warner Oland as "Charlie Chan".

Jack Pierce did the makeup for Werewolf of London. Henry Hull did not want to sit for it though, so Jack redesigned it for him. The original makeup design he resurrected for Lon Chaney Jr.

Just a piece of trivia.

What Movies Have I Seen Recently?

Where the Crawdads Sing (2022)

I watched this on Netflix. I really enjoyed it. Wonderful story, and a wonderfully made film.

I really wanted to see this at the theater since I saw the previews before another movie, but I for some reason I couldn't get to the theater.

Promising Young Woman (2020)

This is a movie about a woman obsessed with the rape and ultimate death of her best friend while at university. The rapist got off because no one wanted to upset his promising career, and she was passed out drunk at the time.

Carey Mulligan plays the surviving friend who seeks revenge against the men that take advantage of women when they are intoxicated. She also confronts people where were originally involved.

One thing I noticed is there are scenes where the image is composed to make her look like she has angel wings, and another where she has a halo. The movie ends with Angel of the Morning sung by Merrilee Rush.

I liked the movie. I saw it at theater in 2020, and I bought the DVD later.

Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)

I saw this film at the theater, and I thought it was too long at the time, but I enjoyed it.
Watching it again on DVD, and the length does not seem that long, and I still enjoyed it. I can understand where it may not be for everyone. Is this a film that appeals to my ADHD?
