What's your verdict?

I saw this when it was in theaters earlier this year, but I rented a copy and watched it last night with my NT sister who is not gay, but "ace."

She liked it as much as me and we agree that M. Night Shyamalan did a great job directing this film
and co-writing the script.

We liked it a lot, too.

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie. I liked it a lot and was really excited. My friend made fun of me for getting jittery before it started.
Love the animation, also it's a very teenager movie, and I appreciate that. Also, Splinter was so nice, I wish my dad was like that.
Don't know why the guys on Letterboxd are giving it a hard time. As someone who is probably in the demographic they were aiming towards, I enjoyed it, however cliched it might be.
They should bring back ROTTMNT though. That show was incredible.

Last night we watched two movies June Lockhart born June 25, 1925 appeared in:

She-Wolf of London [1946] Released when June Lockhart was 20
<=>"A woman whose hatred knew no bounds!"

June Lockhart's wealthy character lives near a park in London where there have been some recent attacks...it is unclear whether the attacker is human or werewolf. However, her character was asleep at the time of the attacks and when she woke up her slippers were muddy!

Zombie Hamlet [2012] Released when June Lockhart was 86
<=>"A Comedy of Errors!"

A zombie movie is being funded by June Lockhart's wealthy character (which makes this a zombie movie movie!). And to keep the funding available the filmmakers decide to hide her body when they find her dead. However, her body disappears!

Both movies are enjoyable.

Watched both after reading this. She-Wolf of London I had on DVD as part of a Wolf Man collection. Zombie Hamlet I watched on Tubi TV. I have never seen, or heard of Zombie Hamlet. It was very entertaining, and well done. Nice script. It was also nice to see June Lockhart at two end of her movie career. Her first film was A Christmas Carol (1938). She played Bob Cratchit's daughter. The Cratchits were played by June's parents, Gene and Kathleen Lockhart.

Contracted.

A young woman is date raped during a party, after which she gradually transforms into a zombie.
Great piece of body horror cinema!

Last night I watched:

Slipstream [1989]
<=>"The world we know has been changed. Not by man, but by nature itself."

In a world reshaped by climate change...but not exactly like what has actually happened since then.

Two officers of the law pursue a fugitive, capture it (an android), and then a crook steals their prisoner so he can claim the bounty. So the officers chase the android and the crook.

Not a particularly good movie but not a particularly bad one, either.

I guess it's kind of Watchable kind of

The stars might interest you, however...
Mark Hamill who just about everyone remembers as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, etc.
Bill Paxton memorable as Private Hudson "That's it, man. Game over, man. Game over!" in Aliens
Bob Peck who, with reminding, I remembered as Muldoon "Clever girl." in Jurassic Park
