Buried History
I like to think about the civilization we have in parts of the world now and what it will be like in say 1,500 years. One aspect that particularly interests me is these places in Europe, like in Rome, where parts of the city are buried under ground and must be dug out by scientists in order to be seen and examined.
Then I apply what they are doing to what NYC maybe like 1,500 years from now and I wonder, is there any way to keep places from getting buried? Even in such places, including the UK, locations are being unearthed and the contents examined.
Are we all doomed to be buried unless it's a pyramid?
