To those of you not in the know, I'm a huge fan of 1980's cult actress Molly Ringwald, best known for her roles in Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink... and that's about it. A shame really, because she's criminally underrated in my opinion. I even modeled the protagonist of my first novel after her in appearance. After all, it was a throwback to the teen films that she did (as well as horror/thrillers of the time), so why not?
