Yesterday my brother gave me a lovely compliment.

He and my mum were watching TV (can't remember what show was on) and there must have been some brother or sister character in it. My mum asked my brother if he would like them for a brother/sister. My brother replied that he was perfectly happy with me.

I know it sounds a simple compliment, but I feel so lucky to have such a compassionate, caring brother who understands me.

The waters of the port were choppy. After I set off, there was a long, massive storm.
Years later, however, the sea calmed. I'm still on tranquil sea, but I'll never reach the Neurotypical Beach.

The last compliment I received was yesterday, when my boyfriend truthfully said that I was the most caring, thoughtful person he's ever met.

I agree with you, people like that make you warm and happy in the inside and they make your life better

Any time my youngest God daughter (7) has said she loves me. It always warms my heart whether in person or on the phone. But the times that stand out most were when she was very very young, before she could even talk, and she would tell me "I love you," via sign language. So, so, so cute & heart warming.

And another would be the kind words written to me in a homemade Christmas card by my closest friend this year. It started off with something like "You are very caring and make it known and shown. I appreciate you." and went on to say some other things. It really did touch my heart. It's very nice to hear nice things like that from trusted loved ones who are being 100% sincere with their words.
