i did an experiment during my undergrad where i stopped talking to people JUST to see how long it would take for someone to talk to me (i did not count the phone calls from my mom or dad, which averaged together, to be 1 per week, roughly)...

went about 4 weeks w/o saying a word. wasn't exactly miss popularity.

Hehe I should try that.

I don't like talking because I find it exhausting.

I only talk when I've got something I think is important to say or contribute.

I find talking tiring...on the occasions I do talk, I seem to become almost manic and talk really fast, switching topics like crazy lol, but then I am 95% sure I have bi polar.

I love to talk! I don’t think I could go even half a day without talking!

I did that as well! It was kinda sad cause absolutely no one would talk to me.

It depends on the situation and what mood I'm in. Yesterday and today I've been feeling very talkative compared to my usual quiet little self -- I don't know why.

I talk as little as possible because I can't think of anything important to say most of the time.

I hate talking unless I really feel like I have something to say..which is not often. Otherwise, I pretty much speak only when spoken to.

Talking has a better chance of getting you into trouble than being silent, so I try to aim to be in middle. I don't talk too much nor am I too quiet.

I used to be called motor-mouth. I still talk a lot, especially in large group situations, or one on one. I also have no shame, and little sense of decency (these were more or less concious decisions - I couldn't stand the BS of all the conversational rules). Often it gets me in trouble, but c'est la vie.

In a perfect world I'd be mute, and just type or write.
