I want to put some of my writing on DeviantArt, but there is an occasional swear word here and there.

Examples:

f**k is used twice when a character gets scared. Like "f**k! My arm hurts!" and a character says "f**k you." to his bully at school.
Ass is used in the context of "You may be scrawny, but you kicked my ass."
fa***t is used when a bullied character confronts is bully. Like "Who are you calling a fa***t now?"

There is strong language, but it's not over used. Only select chapters, very few chapters contain this language.

I just Googled 'Deviantart f***' and plenty of explicit posts showed up, so obviously you can. I'd presume a site with 'deviant' in its name wouldn't be strict about language...

Technically, you have to put a mature filter if you use swear words in written deviations, but most people don't complain if you don't. , you have to put a mature filter if you use swear words in written deviations, but most people don't complain if you don't.

I use dA regularly and most people I've met don't seem to have a problem with it.
