Is there anyone on this forum like me?

As in,

-'good enough' in reading emotions, gets better when hearing someone's story and imagine what it would be like if you were standing in that person's shoes.
-Can pronounce what you are feeling very well?

I know the last point is pretty rare in people with AS, that's why i'm asking.
I seem to have no difficulty with empathy. Infact, i think i may have a bit too much of it than normal people and care too much about others while in fact i should not. It makes me vulnerable to 'abuse'

Sometimes I have wondered if there isn't 'a spectrum within the spectrum' re this sensitivity issue - some people on the spectrum seem to have acute empathy, others nil, and there is a huge distribution in between - the Bell Curve again?

Yes, I think that a lot of us can be very empathic, at least for situations and issues we can relate to and understand. There are things I can say on WP no one I know IRL would understand or relate to and get an empathic response. Not from everyone, but mostly there is someone.
