Why would she have this attitude towards me?

Only a year ago there was this girl who really liked me and was interested in everything about me but I was too shy to take things further with her and I did not speak to her since January 2014. In early october 2014 I did see her in town and she barely noticed me and just said "hello" and that was it.

More to the point I was telling my dad about how seeing her again made me feel sad and he said "James do you really think she gives you a second thought?"

Why would she now not give me a second thought if she was so interested at one point to know so much about me etc :(

She did because you blew her off when she was really interested in you. If a girl is really interested in you she is putting herself out there and then she gets put off by being blown off. I mean think if the situation was reversed.

Seriously though how could she not give me a second thought if she was so enthusiastic about me at one point?

I hate to say it: Maybe she became interested in someone else.

She didn't think it was worthwhile to "put her eggs in one basket."

Well actually my mum said to me "she probably was not really interested in you to begin with"

Because emotional energy is involved in crushing on someone.

Only obsessive people, hang on for ever. There doesn’t have to be someone else to move on.

It could be because you didn't reciprocate, so she doing what she thinks you want.
