(IMHO most boring flags are Libya, Saudi Arabia and Qatar)

I like Estonia, Canada, Scotland, Australia / New Zealand, Germany, Cyprus, UK, Ukraine, Jamaica, Ireland, Argentina, Greece, Greenland.

Estonia's might be my favorite though. There's just something I like about that color combination so much; so cool and steady and tranquil.

Favourites: Portugal, Slovakia, Dominica, UK, Kenya.

There aren't any flags that I dislike, but I've long thought that China deserves a better flag, one more fitting of its grand history.

On another note, New Zealand is holding a referendum this year on whether or not to change its flag. I don't mind the present one, but I wouldn't mind a more modern one either – preferably without having another country's flag in it. If it is changed, I hope the new one is still something nice.

Hmm. I wouldn't mind submitting a design or two! I like designing flags for my own nations, and remember submitting a few when our country was inviting proposals from the public in the early 90s.

^ Yeah, I've wasted a lot of paper coming up with possible designs for a new New Zealand (lol) flag. It's fun. :mrgreen: I haven't come up with anything I particularly like, though.

it is quite the beauty, isn't it? i'm (prolly) wearing Estonian colors right now as i type this, i have blue pants and a black long-sleeved shirt, and aforementioned pants are splotched with white paint from carefree painting

they were just washed yesterday morning! and i think it looks creamy.

the flag, not the paint.

@Murihiku - i too would like to see china adopt a new flag. for the reasons you said, and, i think it looks awful. on another note, during the early history of the US, the flag was supposedly supposed to have a new STRIPE with each new state, along with a star.

i'm very glad it was repealed.

That would have been totally disrespectable to the countries origins considering it's formation in the face of tyranny.
