uhh....yeah...tons of times. i have a very old friend that has now a whole list of disorders.

other people i have somewhat known include a bipolar, a mild adhd, two that were commited (which i only know they were because of the first mentioned old friend that was in the same place then), a girl that turned out having had voices in her head for a long time, one with AS that i a few years after i found that out spotted here on wrongplanet, and the girl that lives in the same house as me has some kind of personality disorder she said, but she refuses to tell me which one.

all these people i havent seen much often though..mostly vague acquaintences and distant friends, the only kinds i have. and they also exclude, of course, the millions of mentally disordered people i know through therapy and such.

I have Savant Syndrom, Autism, Bi-Polar, Aspergers Syndrom, and ADD. My Girlfriend has the same with the exception of having ADD with an H. Several of my friends are Aspies with the
exception of one NT.

Almost all my friends have some form of ADHD, bipolar, or depression. They seem to be more tolerant of someone who is "different" than people who are not used to struggling with their mental state.

I had a friend and a teacher with bipolar disorder. They were both too overbearing for my liking.

It is probably easier for me than others to adapt to those with disorders, since my family has a history of mental illness.

I think it would be interesting to have a friend with a mental disorder. I probably would get along better with them than a normal person. I've never had any friends that I know of that had mental disorders.

WOW that must have been hard to diagnose all the different disorders correctly with so many symptoms and symptom overlaps.

My Mom has BPD. She made my life one merry Hell.

I have bipolar disorder, OCD, as well as AS. I'm also in a relationship with another aspie and I also live with my best friend who is also bipolar. Me and my friend are very close but sometimes we clash when our moods swing or whatever. As far as the aspie guy I know, we get along well but I don't live with him so I don't know how it will work out.

Actually, most of my friends have some mental disorder, be it AS, OCD, ADD, or in one case, schizophrenia.
