Natural born leader vs Leader who become leader trough hardship.

ad astra per aspera (or Asperger ;-)

I'm thinking that by analogy to Star Trek, not everyone has the personality of Captain James T. Kirk, some are szra myszka (gray mice), as here in Poland is said about shy and \ or not liking publicity.
For instance can you imagine Reginald Barclay as spacecraft commander of the United Federation of Planets:-) Returning to the ground (literally and figuratively) I wonder if people like us (I mean with Asperger's Syndrome) if that person suddenly suddenly received the rank of Major and command of the frontline unit. Many people consider us individuals with Asperger syndrome for excellent strategists (which is true in my case, I am not unbeatable in Sid Meier's Civilization and EU4), but not tacticians (almost always lose when I play with a live opponent in the Total War series;-))
