"al pot petit hi ha la bona confitura" it means something like "in the little pot there is the good jam" :D

i could understand most all of that, but 'confitura'. :P wonder why they chose the jam analogy? is it supposed to imply sweetness? purity? i'm 5 foot 10.

i doubt i look younger than my age.

In french, jam is "confiture".

Unattractive. My face is kind of average (though scowly), but my body is horrible--fishbelly complexion, swayback, potbelly, huge behind, very short (5') and stubby, not to mention about 130lbs overweight (I'm around 250lbs last I bothered to check). (No, I'm not a whale, but I'm fat; I don't even carry the weight proportionately.) Guys never notice me. I have the suspicion that people think I'm handicapped due to the way I carry myself (waddly, awkward, withdrawn, eyes always downcast). I guess they wouldn't be too far off. :|

It is what it is. Perhaps it's best I'm unattractive since even though I'd like a relationship, I'm asexual, so even if my looks managed to attract a guy, my preferences--and my extreme avoidance/shyness--would definitely turn him off. And then he would probably get mad at me. :/

I would rate myself as 7-8/10 and I am single.
I lacked interest in other people for almost whole life(it slowly changes now), my personality is not easy to deal with and my body language sucks so I am not a good girlfriend material despite looking good. Or maybe my comfortable clothes and the lack of make up are the problem?

I've been told I'm fairly attractive by a number of women. But I think I'm the least photogenic person on the planet. (Check out my avatar. Am I lying?)

I was going for a serious look in that one. The ones where I try to smile are the worst.

I'm a guy--so, obviously, I don't dig you.

But I don't think you're unattractive at all. You have that "wise, experienced" sort of mien.

That's very kind of you to say.

I don't consider myself physically attractive, but I've been told I'm at least a 6, which to me, isn't that bad.

i don't not like that. i don't understand the need to want to look good but i think it's sometimes taken too far, like these 'choker' necklaces i've seen girls wear a lot lately. (does that count as a fad? they're not particularly new.) none of the people that i've asked have said they are comfortable, so why do they wear them?

"Chokers" were in style in the 1970s, too.

I tend to think of myself as an ugly bastard...hence the reason I always distort my photos to mere blurs in most cases, though I have been told I resemble Johnny Depp in some ways......Not sure where they get that from.

Discussing fashion is like discussing art - they don't have to make any sense to be considered right.

I guess the "choker" necklaces fit someones image and are not uncomfortable enough to not wear them. My friend likes wearing this kind of necklace and it fits her so I don't argue. Whatever she likes, if she prefers a slight discomfort for being fashionable it's her choice. Besides - I don't think the "choker" necklaces are that uncomfortable. A good one will probably feel like a polo neck which I am able to wear. High heels are much worse. Not only uncomfortable but also dangerous.

Thank you, Kiprobalhato. I'm fortunate to have good genes, plus I do try to take care of myself.
