No, it was not correct. By definition, personality disorders have an onset around adolescence to early adulthood. If this child genuinely had these symptoms from toddlerhood, the child has another condition.

The mere fact that different doctors diagnosed the same condition does not make the earlier diagnosis correct; the accuracy of a diagnosis depends on the assessment process used to reach it, and the first doctor transgressed a basic component of PD criteria, rendering that first diagnosis inaccurate regardless of what subsequent doctors diagnose.
