any fans of David Lynch around?

*raises hand*
Actually all I've seen from Lynch is Eraserhead, but I liked it. Surreal and confusing and yet at the same time not too difficult to decipher.

My favorite movie is a Sundance film called "Manic." It's about an abused kid with violence issues who gets sent to a mental hospital for teenagers after beating a classmate into a coma. The film follows his interaction with the other patients who each have their own problems and the guidance counselor who can't ever seem to get through to any of the kids. It's a very powerful film with one of the most excellent endings I've ever seen. I would recommend it to anyone but specifically to Aspies.

IMDB: http://imdb.com/title/tt0252684/

Look for it the next time you vist your local movie rental place.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003)

Master and Commander is a great film for anyone who enjoys "cannon & sail" type cinema. Very realistically done, the film takes place during the Napoleonic Wars of the early 19th century.

Hell yeah! Throw in Lone Wolf and Cub 5, Escape from New York and Big Trouble in Little China and it's made.

Bridge to Terabithia(2007) was good, I saw it on Sunday.

My favourite film has to be the LOTR trilogy.
