Why do I only like classical music??

I only listen to that kind of music, especially the sad one, it makes me feel relaxed, but my friends think I'm weird

I only listen to certain type of instrumental jazz (with the only exception being some improvisational instrumental Asian music)

Must be something in the wiring of the brain which only takes in certain sounds and not others??

Everyone likes a certain kind of music and it can be for a lot of reasons. Most people like pop music because it's the most popular kind of music and it's the one you hear the most in general.
