That a penny-farthing bike is called that because of the wheel shapes looking like a penny and a farthing. I always thought it was called that because it cost a penny and a farthing back in the day.

That I might be allergic to bread. :( Delayed reaction allergy.

That the novel flavors that I crave only exists in my childhood, along with my childhood tasting palette. That I don't taste the same now.

That my drawing is in a more rapid progress than before.
And of gestalt and shadow.

Oh and...
Glutinous rice flour is... Gluten free.

I learned of this very intelligent crow, the New Caledonian:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Caled ... anufacture

This bird makes tools in order to make other tools e.g. it makes hooks to pick up a bucket of food.

"The New Caledonian crow is the only non-primate species for which there is evidence of cumulative cultural evolution in tool manufacture."

I know, right? The even have a sign at Disneyland in California saying just being there can cause cancer and birth defects.

Funny thing is, I'd be more worried about how the Earth is supposed to shift someday, causing a gigantic earthquake that will rip California apart. You're always hearing about massive earthquakes now, so it's strange that it hasn't happened yet. I also worry about that happening in British Columbia.

How to fiddle with subassemblies and construct assemblies on Solidworks.
Nothing new, but I still have issues with moving parts within subassemblies and their copies.

I learned that government bureaucracies are by definition cruel, abusive, and sadistic.

that some people don't pronounce "h" in the word "herbal" and it's officially accepted as one of the ways to pronounce it. Maybe GA?

I try to learn something health, nutrition or fitness related every day. TIL the reishi mushroom extract I prepared two years ago but never used is unlikely to do what I wanted it to do.
