Toads will play dead if frightened badly enough. They roll onto their backs, tuck all their legs in, and don't move, then untuck and hop away as soon as they think the coast is clear. My dog has now frightened two toads badly enough to make them do that.

Sometimes kittens can be born with a "fever coat", which is a light silvery color that is very different from the mother cat's fur. This happens when the mother has a fever or is stressed while pregnant. The color usually changes in a few weeks to the genetic color the kitten would have been born with normally. I learned this from a video where a cat had just given birth to only one baby kitten. It will be interesting to see what color the kitten will be when he or she gets older. :)

Something strange. People can present themselves as kinda people to your face but, in their next breath, talk about how much they dislike you to somebody else even when you're within earshot.

Incidentally, as it's somewhat related, I've updated my definition of toxicity, particularly in social environments. :P

I used a microwave for the first time today. After burning my popcorn I learned that they have "POPCORN" buttons.

:?

A hard-learned lesson to which I can attest and you do have my sympathies.

In 1992, a group of French youths removing graffiti from a cave accidentally erased a painting of a bison that was 15,000 years old.

To put aside grudges and past injustices against you since it does nothing than appease your ego and fill you with a toxic sort of anger that goes nowhere.

Personally, today I learned a lot of interesting things about the role of [url=https:// In addition, ... is a ubiquitous network, except that all of these electronic devices have access to the Internet.

If you don’t ask for something, you won’t get help, but it can be hard for me, cuz I can forget & things in my life can be overwhelming. It’s took me a very long time to call life insurance for my past checks, my mom left me life insurance checks :D

About 100,000 years ago, there were barely enough people on Earth to fill a football stadium.

The current library at Alexandria has a copy of all the web pages on every website on the Internet since it started in 1996.
