(and the city college, maybe groceries, walking julie...) why memphis?

There's no such thing as Spring Break for working adults.. so, I'm going to work.

When I did have Spring Break all through public school we stayed close to home, went on some outings in the city, maybe took a short road trip. Reading break during business school was used for resting.. and reading.

It's a bit of a different culture here, I suppose. I think most people do the "staycation" thing on Spring Break with their kids. There isn't much of a college/university Spring Break party or vacation culture here at all. Well, not among locals/middle class. I bet some of the wealthier students take trips. But yeah, the whole college Spring Break stereotype that's played out in Hollywood movies is just a movie concept thing here.
