Safe house, the answer to all your prayers, false sense of security, where everything is beautiful, flowers everywhere. All about to come down but I'm oblivious. The flowers will wilt, the windows will shatter, inner demons will fight their way out of you, shatter your dreams. Death fills the air now, no place is safe. Nowhere to run, the darkness follows you. I choose to embrace it, I own my darkness, it will never consume me, I consume it.

It sort of makes me think of "Light 'em up" by Fallout Boy, but I'm not entirely sure why. Perhaps the references to darkness, which here would seem more about the darkness of depression than that of non-transparency. I've had days like those; everyone has, and so many can relate via the emotional imagery. Good work.
