Do any of you guys know about cats who don't shed much and don't give you allergies [if possible]...besides the hairless ones!

Balinese seems to be a good choice.

As a child, I had two hamsters. The first died when I was four. The second, when I was eight. I have had a cat since I was seven years old. She is smaller than most adults. There is a local cat with ginger fur and green eyes that comes around at night and whines for me to come out and feed it, stroke it.

When I was 14, I had a puppy that looked like this:

This weekend, I am going to adopt a pup.

I can't choose between a Bengal kitten or a Balinese kitten.

My friend's family had a Bengal when she was growing up, and that cat had a lot of behavioral problems. I'm not sure if it was because of poor breeding practices or something else, but meeting her put me off the breed. She sprayed/marked everything despite being spayed as a kitten, destroyed the furniture, was scared of people and would run or growl if anyone tried to pet her, even my friend and her family who she had lived with since she was 8 weeks old, and she was aggressive to their other cats (who were all friendly and well-behaved). I'd definitely go with a Balinese out of those two choices. Check out the Furminator brushes for a way to cut down on shedding, though I think it's the dander that actually bothers allergies. They're expensive, but I have one for my cat and it makes a huge difference in the amount of fur he leaves on our couches and clothes.

Other than hairless and Cornish Rex, most shed to some extant.

To keep allergies down and keep their coat gorgeous, frequent bathing. Most people are actually alleergic to their saliva and dander than the hair

I was a cat breeder. I had some Himmies (hair bugged me) but specialized in Xoties and Persians. I had at top end (my set them all loose garage because he was to lazy to feed individuals while I was ill) 63 cats n kittens. My allergies were only triggered on occasion.

bought some new, confetti colored carefresh for my toasty.

i can't stand the kaytee stuff, it's much too fluffy, it expands massively even while in the cage and clumps to one side after a while. though that's probably the ham's fault.

getting hot here again. figuring out ways to let him cool down.
