Thankyou for the congratulations. I've watched my movie, last night like I said I would. I've watched Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. It was interesting to see where my mind was at, ten years ago. :P :D

Congratulations. However, I remember people who actually provide good input to a forum through their personal experience rather then just having a large post count. Your mileage may vary.

I'm quite the extroverted little "Cockney", and I'm careful not to air my dirty laundry. I'd rather have fun than annoy people with my personal life. Thanks for the congratulations, by the way. :)

    Route 3....
  • Oxford Circus Station Regent Street: Off we go...
  • Regent Street: First programming I even did. On and IBM 1638(?) with drum memory.
  • Piccadilly Circus Station: One night, a cash machine refused to give me my £10 here. I phoned the bank the next day, and they said they'd been waiting for someone to ask for the £10 they'd found on the floor inside the machine.
  • Haymarket: I had my "initiation" into Trancendental Meditation somewhere hereabouts.
  • Cockspur Street: (Giggle?)
  • Trafalgar Square (for Charing Cross Station ): Strangely(?), for a Londoner, I've never been in "The National Portrait Gallery". OTOH, the "Tate Gallery", just down the river, many, many times.
  • Charing Cross: Walking home form here, on a Saturday night, when the last tube train has gone.
  • Whitehall: Someone lives hereabouts?
  • Parliament Street: I've not been in the Houses of Parliament, either.
  • Westminster Station: Never been here, to my knowledge.
  • Parliament Square: I fly round here, dodging the cars that don't know where they're going.
  • St Margaret's Street: The first of Barbara Hepworth's public sculptures is here. IIRC.
  • Abingdon Street: I got a little lost once, looking for the "Royal Horticultural Halls & Conference Centre" (A Sinclair Spectrum, etc show). Came out here.
  • Millbank: Nearly to the Tate, but ...
  • Lambeth Bridge: ... over the bridge instead.
  • Lambeth Road: Not a bad place to be "Doing the Lambeth Walk".
  • Kennington Road: It was somewhere along here...
  • Kennington Park Road: ... or here, where I was a member of the "Kennington Cycle Club". Never once did I cycle for them. We just played nine card brag. It's where I learnt how to gamble and learnt not to gamble. One occasion, won £20 with bluffing. Next occasion, lost the same amount.
  • Kennington (for Oval Station ): This was where the tube stopped (or rather, started, seeing as I was further south). The extension of the Northern Line down to Brixton was pretty much "after my day".
  • Brixton Road: Just off east from here was where I was born.
  • Brixton Station: Many visits to the market here. Strangely, it reminds me of some serial nightmares I've had, of it in more modern times.
  • Brixton Road: Shopping 'til you're dropping.
  • Effra Road: Past the town hall.
  • Morval Road: A new one way system...
  • Dalberg Road: .. that I've never seen. Things change.
  • Dulwich Road: Past Kennington Park open air swimming pool (if it still exists). Last time I was in the park was a pop concert.
  • Rymer Street: More one way bits.
  • Railton Road: West Indian party here. Mackerel and green banana stew.
  • Herne Hill Station: Naturally, this is at the far end of Herne Hill, with no sight of the hill, part of my cycle route to school.
  • Norwood Road: I still have relatives in Norwood, I think...
  • Croxted Road (for West Dulwich Station ): One of my school friends lived along here.
  • South Croxted Road: ?
  • Alleyn Park: I went to Alleyn's School, which isn't here. Edward Alleyn founded a whole bunch of schools (seven in total, IIRC), all hereabouts.
  • Dulwich Wood Park: One of my aunt/uncles lived here for a bit.
  • College Road: Dulwich college, that is. Another of the Edward Alleyn founding. I fenced (foil) there a couple of limes.
  • Crystal Palace Parade: And the bus stops here, so I'll have to walk the last few yards to around the corner to Weslow Hill, where I learnt "Kung Fu" ffom Lajos Jakab.
