I don't think I have a fave before 1990. Heck, I wasn't even born then!

I've been obsessed with Disney animation since childhood. Being the fossil that I am, I can remember what a rare treat it was to catch an early Disney animated movie at a theatre. I saw Fantasia back in 1978 I believe, on the big screen. I was amazed ... Also Pinocchio, the atmosphere on that one was incredible. Sometime around 1981 I saw Alice in Wonderland at a theatre and a mate and I got good and stoned beforehand. We did Ok through the film until a song "I Wish I Would Take My Own Advice" (or something like that.) There were spectacle birds that cried with Alice because this was a sad song, and for some reason the tears running down the beaks of the spectacle birds was insanely funny. We burst out laughing and the mum seated in front of us turned around to glare at us like we were Philistines.

Alice In Wonderland is my number one favorite movie of all time! Of. All. Time. :D If I ever get married, I want a Mad Hatter hat-shaped cake. And a dress like Alice's, except white. That's the only thing I've known about any wedding plans, ever since I was little.

Other favorites are The Little Mermaid (a few people have told me that I look like a brunette Ariel), 101 Dalmations and... The Sword And The Stone, because of the squirrel scene. If there was a Disney movie that was entirely about squirrels, then THAT would be my new favorite movie.

k:

The cake ought to be shaped like a tea pot, and the groom has to wear a Mad hatter's hat and coat.

I think we can all say that "Who framed Roger Rabbit?" was good (and it counts too! 1988  ).

The rest seem kinda way too stereotypical to me after retrospection...

 That would be cute, too! I never really thought about Alice marrying the Mad Hatter before... The best man should be dressed like the March Hare, then.

I must add that I love Who Framed Roger Rabbit? too! I wasn't really thinking about Touchtone movies. I sing "Why Don't You Do Right?" all the time to my cats when they're bad.

“Song of The South” only because it is banned by Disney. I tend to want to read or see anything that is banned or forbidden.

It's been a long time since I saw any, but I'll go ahead and say:
The Jungle Book.

And yes, I'm going to include Mary Poppins in my preferred list. It had some animation. I'd probably like it just as well if they animated the whole thing, using the audio from the classic movie. Although a real life Julie Andrews has a certain appeal to me that cartoons don't.

Of non-classics, I really like Aladdin. Although it's probably the only one I've even seen.
I'd be open to seeing some others, if I didn't happen to be busy with something else.

Beauty & The Beast is probably my favourite, because I'm an incurable romantic at heart.

Plus, the signature song makes me weepy, because I'm a big softie (despite the handle :))
