I'm reviving a interest group at Microsoft for employees on the autism spectrum. This is a self-advocacy group that had been active a year or so ago, then faded out as leadership turned over.

Part of the impetus regards Microsoft's supported program for recruiting people with autism -- we need peer mentors to help these new hires get acclimated to the Microsoft corporate culture in Redmond and have someone who gets it to be available. Also, I'm hoping that we can be a resource to the larger autism community in the Puget Sound.

If you're interested, please sign up for the ewasd DG or ping me directly. If you know someone at Microsoft who is on the spectrum, please share this message.

We hope to have these mentors lined up by mid-June, so we're on a bit of a short timeline.
