Indeed it is challenging form of communication for all of us. There are few interesting remarks on facial expressions from my perspective. I do tend to get confused with them but it also depend on the person's genetic looks which may have similar feelings as other people but with different looks.

Most of the time when I meet people in public, sometime I randomly say hello and hit a line on something like "Oh a car ran a red-light!". The person always, yes always, doesn't respond to my request. Their faces is like, not interested or shallow-like looks. I don't understand why people don't take these stuff seriously? I mean why saying 'hello' back is not important when someone does to you?

I find that occurs a lot with NTs, even the ones who never met me and never knew I am an aspie. So I believe there must be another form of mental health issues with NTs in reality. I know Australia have serious mental health issues. Maybe that would be a case.

Anyone experiences similar situations like this?
