the best part is, that dude likes other dudes. hahahahahahahaha. ALPHA!

It's not uncommon for women to prefer gay pornstars, they are alphas in their eyes still.

Short answers:

Nice Guy - A man or boy who behaves with deference toward women and girls.

Alpha Male - A man or boy who seeks primacy over females and other males.

Longer answers:

A nice guy is non-aggressive, non-assertive, and generally uninteresting, but who can be relied upon for a compliment or to run an errand, and who rarely, if ever, initiates romance or inspires romantic feelings in the women and girls he admires. While he may be considered 'cute' by women, he is usually "friend-zoned" by these same women for lack of any sexual or emotional appeal.

An alpha male is an arrogant jerk who exploits others' insecurities to bolster his own self-esteem, and who often resorts to intimidation and deprecation to assert a dominant social role among others. He is often physically attractive, and enhances his attractiveness with material wealth, athletic prowess, physical abuse, or any combination thereof.

I didn't read the rest of the thread just yet, but it's 5:54am and I'm bored listening to retrowave. Anyway, you're implying that a man can not be assertive and nice. Have you ever seen James Bond? He's smooth, calm, and polite. You can be nice and be assertive. A "nice guy", doesn't mean a passive guy. I used to have the mindset, that a lot of women like jerks, that's not the case. Usually it's the women with low self esteem, that think they desire jerks, that stay with them. Also, if you meet a woman and you're "too nice" for her, you don't want to be with her trust me. I've learned this lesson first hand. So, aspire to be more like Bond...just without the whole spy thing.

Jason Statham is "alpha". I know a lot of you are going to say, that women are more into the cuter less rugged men. That is the case for some, but I guarantee you there is a lot of women that like Statham. It also comes down to how he carries himself. I chose the photo of him in a suit, because he's dressed like a gentleman. Gentleman being a keyword here. Women like gentlemen. You should be both nice and assertive. There needs to be a balance. There is nothing wrong with listening to a woman's problems and being friends with her, just don't put your life on hold to do it. I hope that makes sense.

why are people who defend women bad?

The white knight definition as I have seen it described (and witnessed among some) are that they will be quick to defend women, but seem to believe they are owed something for it later. They are more likely to think of themselves as "God's gift to women"

That's why male feminists are not much liked by feminists.

Feminists even suspect the guys who call themselves egalitarian.

I have this white knight male feminist troll named Glac Husky stalking me on youtube.

I see a "white knight" as somebody with kind of a savior complex. The kind of guy who is attracted to girls who have tons of problems and try to fix them all for them. Deep seated problems there, no doubt. But I don't see the guy's who stick up for random strange women to be "white knights" unless they try and pursue a relationship with the girl they defended. That might work in real life, and always works in movies but it also probably comes across kind of creepy.

I bet the Lone Ranger would be ideal for ladies. He helps 'em, then splits without wanting them to know his name.

"Who was that masked man?"

When people mention "white knights" nowadays, they mostly refer to the latter type of men rather than the former. Most so-called "white knights" are just a different of "nice guys"; they're traditionally unattractive males who can't attract women with their physique so they try to make up for it for by showing them love, dedication and appreciation. In other words, they try to make up for their lack of """skill""" with their enthusiasm and eagerness to please. It doesn't work.

You'd wish you never wrote that.

A (toxic) feminist is a once-was Alpha girl in her 40s that no longer can act like a spoiled teen because guys no longer find her attractive. She is now hoping that feminism can force guys to like once-was Alphas that missed their opportunity when they had it because they acted like spoiled kids. However, her whining will do no good as guys generally don't like her type. It won't help to shout misogynist either.

What - you mean how Germaine Greer and Harriet HArman were owned by a Page 3 model on Channel 4 News? Greer and HArman were doing the slutshaming...

i'm a female feminist happily married to a male feminist.

Me too.

Also some people do not understand that feminists are not a cohesive group. If you do a bit of research into the types of feminism you will see that the idea of all feminists holding a particular view is absurd as they disagree vehemently in many ways.

1Gets EXTREMELY confusing from the outside when they have only one interface to the Lobbying/Government/Activism/PR side. We hear the loudest....

Who also tend to be the most strident/batshit insane/toxic...

been called white knight and seen others called it solely for defending women. be them friends or strangers. on the places I've been its deemed ok to call women sluts, whores, and talk about f*****g them even though you hardly know them. anyone that goes against this is called a white knight.

really starting to think defending or helping people is wrong and not worth it. better to keep walking if you see some woman getting raped. fyi in the random studies they performed most people do just keep walking. society is goign down hill. people won't help each other anymore and those who do get hated on.

Don't give up on saving people because of "society."

Be yourself.
