What has this got to do with autism?

I don't dislike it, and I do have a minecraft account. Years ago I was really into it. I probably would be if I played it again.

So for me it's not a yes or no, really.

I prefer SimCity4!

Have played it to death since it first appeared in 2010.

One of those rare games I never tire of.

Yes.. i like the game concept and enjoyed playing it for some time.
I prefer ones that add shooting elements tough like ace of spades..

oh yeah by the way I'm just asking this because there are news like "how minecraft saves my son with autism" or something else like that and I had an aspie acquaintance who likes it also and my brother likes it too.

which gives me a big question: do you all like minecraft? really?

I love Minecraft, it's like computer lego. I can spend hours going from task to task and to project. It only got worse when I found the Feed the Beast add on packs...I lost days to that. It lets me switch my brain off for a while and lets me just focus with no voices or emotions.

That and I can build spaceships. SPACESHIP!

I wouldnt say at all that everyone here likes it; I think we've got way more that DONT care than those that do care. I rarely find many here to talk about it with myself.

I dont know where people came up with the whole "Minecraft = autism" bit; I wouldnt put much stock in that. It originated on the internet SOMEWHERE, so.... yeah. Not exactly a valid thing. Pretty much everyone I know plays that game, but I'm the only autistic among the group.

This game is better.

It's alright. I don't hate it, but I still don't quite "get" why people are so obsessed with it. It has some neat ideas, but I think the execution could be better.

Nope. It's boring. That's really all I have to say about it. Got bored real quick, and mods didn't help.

I can enjoy it. The music in particular is somewhat hypnotic to me.

Unfortunately I get "simulator sickness" rather quickly from Minecraft, so I don't play it anymore. Those nerve pressure point wrist bands do help, but are not worth the trouble.
