can you write and talk at the same time?

If you are writing out a note, or list or anything, can you talk at the same time as you are writing?

I can't but it seems everyone else can

Nope...I will start writing what I or the other person is saying....when you are writing in charts for a client(at work)that can be very embarassing.

I can barely walk and breath at the same time. I probably shouldn't have signed up for that 5K run. Oh, well, it's for a good cause. Those children in Africa have far too much food to eat.

I VAGUELY remember that I USED to have a problem. I don't now. I can look up, talk, and write something else at the same time. Some seem surprised, and one even stopped me to see what I write, because SHE couldn't do that. As I said though, it took a bit of thought. I don't think it was hard or long. SOME claim that AS people and males can't multitask, etc... Frankly, I never believed that.(I'm male, and seem to be AS as well!) I'm not good at math, but sometimes I can even work out two parts of an equation at the same time.

I can't either. If someone is talking to me it completely distracts me from anything I'm doing, including writing.
