No. Not been thought of as charismatic. Unless someone thought it but never told me.

Moreover, I would be described as acerbic.

Yes, weirdly. I'm told that I am objective and non-judgmental, giving the other a sense of being accepted. If anyone is into astrology -- I'm a Libra, I don't give it much credence though, but one of the characteristics is charisma.

(Edit)
I should include that the reverse has been noted too. Unintentional on my part, viewed by others as self centered, come off as arrogant, uncaring... etc..

You gave the DICTIONARY definition! The COMMON definition has more with being socially adept, charming, and compelling. That is often OUTSIDE of any office, or church. You can be a charismatic speaker, or a charismatic salesperson, for example. Sometimes, the dictionaries JUST miss the mark! BTW I DOUBT fresco meant the definition you gave!

I doubt I ever had what could be called charisma and was always an outcast. However over the last year at my job people really look to me for answers. They also really like working under my direction when setting up new machinery. Maybe in the right place and situation I might have it.

I was recently called a charismatic little weasel - if that counts.

I've been told that I have a great deal of stage presence though.
