I want to "jailbreak" my iPad Air 2. This is legal in the USA. There are several tools, but the one with the most documentation seems to be "Pangu8". However, it also seems to be written by hackers in the People's Republic of China. I do not want my personal information to be delivered into the hands of modern-day Maoists, but I also want to have root access to my iPad.
Does anyone have experience with "jailbreaking" iPads?
