I'm 21 now and I haven't had many friends here since I was 11. I do have some friends, they are a couple of old sailors in their sixties and one in his seventies. My friends are really cool and teach me a lot about electrical and mechanical things and are probably the best friends I have had, but I would like to have a few friends around my age though. I went to a party recently, everyone there was in their thirties and it wasn't that fun. I don't know what local people in their twenties do for fun. I feel like if I keep living here, I will never reach my goal of being a functional human being. My definition of functional human being is this: has a vehicle (which I have), has his own place to live ( I don't have this, I live with my parents, has a girlfriend (I don't have one,not sure 100% how to obtain), has a social circle consisting of his peers (Like I said, I have friends, but they're all generations older than me).
