What is left can't be right. The right is right by definition. What is left to debate?

F*** wings, I would much rather we have a revolutionary-reactionary spectrum.

If I had to go by any label it would be anarcho-communist.

That's why left-handed people are naturally inferior human beings.

I was in the Socialist Party (England and Wales) while I was at university reading computer science. Marxism appeals to my systems thinking and I was brought up to believe in fairness (grandfather was a Lib Dem councillor). The SP don't have a branch in Cornwall though so now I'm in the National Health Action party.

After 1988 presumably? Otherwise he would most like either have been a Liberal or SDP.

The whole left right debate is really a red herring becuase you can get people on the same side of the lelf-right spectrum that a political are as far removed from each other than the opposite side of the spectrum.

I'm a competionist, socially libertarian, and a trade liberal.

Definitely to the left. I believe strongly that the government has a responsibility to be active for the common good of it's citizenry, especially for the destitute, for racial and sexual minorities when they have faced discrimination, and for the disabled. I vote Democratic only because socialist parties don't win elections.

Center-right. Fiscal and constitutional conservative, no official position on most social issues.

Right wingnut here :D
I started going in that direction when I was in my mid teens, mostly from near constant exposure to my idiotic democrat parents incessant blathering about distribution of wealth and the need to regulate every facet of human life and to ban things for our own good and that of society.
f**k, it got old. :x

Yeah it was during Paddy Ashdown's leadership, my grandparents helped his election campaign.

Isn't it outrageous that planes can't fly without both left and right wings?

I'm neither liberal or conservative. Though I am far more left wing. I meet eye to eye with liberals on a lot more subjects, such as marijuana, gay marriage, and abortion. I do agree with conservatives on a few things, but a lot of conservatives tend to base their political views on the bible which they shouldn't because of separation of church and state. A lot of our founding fathers were very critical of religion.
