Howdy. I'm grumpy. I'm not sure if women go through a midlife crisis like men do, but I sure feel like I am. I keep waking up in a cold sweat thinking that life is passing me by and what have I actually done? Now, I just ordered everything I need from Amazon to make myself into a fiery redhead! Just like Rose in the movie "Titanic". If I am indeed going through a midlife crisis, I want to do it right. Anyone have any ideas on how I could make my midlife crisis one for the books?

I've felt old since my 20s, and I am very likely in a MLC right now.

change your diet and exercise routine and get your second wind in terms of body care/fitness. make yourself over into something along the lines of Hollywood or Venice California. maybe take some brassy bits from that brassy redhead lady who jokes around with that CNN guy.

Believe it or not, I had a midlife crisis when I turned 30. Laughable now. As far as turning yourself into a redhead goes, why not? Do some things you haven't done before as long as you are in your comfort zone. Enjoy! :)

I have a mid-life crisis when I look at myself in the mirror. :P

I relate to this. Ever since I realized what this thing we call "life" is all about.

I don't think you'd look good as a redhead, Angela.

I don't know why I say this...but I can sense it.

Travel. There's a whole new world out there. Maybe you could travel on one-day return cheap tickets to cities. I met a women who did that - met her at the airport, of course. She did this on weekends, kept her job.

And bright hair will be ravishing on you!

Oh wow, you could blog it!

Yep: travel.

Why? Because that´s what I want to do

But seriously: I think it´s more of a life than midlife crisis in my case. Girly stuff like a new look isn´t enough in such a severe case, here we need the entire heavy artillery   I wouldn´t mind just packing a bag, leaving everything and never come back.

So perhaps I shouldn´t even reply

(As it happens, I was actually watching this a moment ago, thinking "One day..."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QKbIb8wcz0 )

Not sure traveling would be enough for "one for the books" anyway, I´m afraid we are about a century too late for that... :)

Hope you (=we  ) get more realistic suggestions from someone else :)

I don't know how to travel. I've only been to Missouri and one time when I got a wild hair (you know where) I went to the Caribbean with a friend who set up everything because she had traveled many times before. I'd have to have someone to go with or I'd get lost (and then who would feed Waldo?)

I actually used to have a lot of red in my natural hair color. I've colored it red many times and it looked great. If it's a boo boo, then I can always put brown in it again. I'm just not going back to black and blonde was too harsh on my hair.

sounds like you already have a passport, and you could find a sitter for waldo, just a matter of scratching together the duckie$ the trip will cost, and then doing it to it.

Hi nurseangela, I don't think your going through a midlife crisis,
I think you're going through menopause.

This is probably the hardest transition a girl has to make in her life!

Just read the entire thread!

I agree, travel!
