I always thought "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" would be the best song to have at my funeral.

Perhaps this should be our "national" anthem...

WOW!

Nina Simone knocked it out of the park with her searing version.

Was already familiar with the other two versions. Also good. Great song.

A European band called "Alabina" also did a good version (flamenco-rock kinda like Santa Esmerelda, but in a more recent modern style).

Yep...that sucks!

It's easy to be misunderstood online because of the nature of being online: no face-to-face contact.

Ironically, I think I'm more misunderstood face-to-face then on other mediums (over the phone, email, message boards, etc...) because my body language is often completely misunderstood.

If I had a nickel for every time somebody approached me to say "what's wrong?", when absolutely nothing is wrong, well I'd have a ton of nickels :). Been happening since I was a young child.

My thoughtful look is often interpreted as an angry or worried expression...
I tried putting on a fake smile but could never keep it up...

Yep, this happens to me a lot, when I am pacing or stimming or appear deep in thought. Even other ASD people do it to me.
