I did most of these around 3 years ago when I was doing college studies in art and was going through a major art phase. I still have all my materials but have not ventured to try again... Some are pencil, the rest are watercolour and ink. All were copied from different books. Some were done with the help of watercolour painting books. These were my first and only watercolour efforts. Comments appreciated. :)

No, as I did them in my own time for my own leisure and learning. I decided to post them since others are posting their art. I do not usually bother as to me they are far from perfect.

Ah, you should see some of my mum's pieces, and her sister's. My mum did a wonderful one of penguins that I think we've still got stashed away somewhere. My late aunt (her sister) did some fantasy drawings....

Fantasy art... now there is something I have a great appreciation for. I wish I could draw that stuff... mind you, in honesty, I haven't tried :) This is the sort of area in which I lack patience. I want to be perfect instantly.

Whoa, that's stylistic. @.@
My favorite thing is the color. I can only describe the colors as saturated pastelles, which is somewhat of an oxymoron.

Wow graelwyn, those are lovely! Thanks for sharing. I especially like the landscapes/ ones of buildings. The colors contrasted with the dark lines is just beautiful.

They are very nice Graelwyn, a little more effort and these would be amazing :) with more color and more shadows they'd look superb

I was never happy with my results... I am somewhat of a perfectionist and it is harder as I come from a family of artists, lol. My mother I can draw but that I don't persevere. I am about to try and get back into it again, but not sure how I will do. I prefer drawing to painting to be honest.

Thanks everyone else for the comments... not sure why 3 and 4 are considered weird, lol.
