the problem is not what people are eating, it is that they are lazy and refuse to exercise.

"oh i don't have time!"

i say "BS" to that. MAKE TIME! your body is more important than earning money.

and any kind of movement helps. sitting all day at a computer? get one of those mini pedals machines to put under your desk. and get up and move around once in a while!

there is no real excuse for obesity. "lazy" is not a valid excuse.

damn... the amount of laziness in this world really "boils my blood"

Yes but without money how do you take care of your body? sort of hard to feed yourself and have good hygiene with no income....Also laziness is hardly the only reason for obesity, not to mention some people are considered 'obese' who really aren't all that large as they base it on that BMI thing which doesn't always account for how much weight is muscle and how much is fat.

I imagine lack of physical activity however does play into a lot of cases of obesity...but its a bit unfair and inaccurate to accuse everyone who's obese of just being 'lazy'. Also what you eat certainly can also play a role...but of course eating healthier without having a healthy amount of physical activity won't entirely help.

...Because exercising after eating about three burgers is going to keep the weight off.

Modern western lifestyle and diet lends itself to obesity, we can change the food but how we live is harder. Sitting at an office for 8 hours, sitting driving home, sitting at home watching tv, sitting and texting, sitting and playing on the computer. People didn't have to make a concerted effort to exercise back in the day to not be obese now they do.
