Are there any kind of dituations or things that just totally set you off but YET the exact same things don't upset other people- infact it doesn't even phase them? If so what are some things? For me, it's little kids crying. Or deaden roads near other roads that don't need to have a deadend.

So many things. For example, when teachers or speakers make generalizations about the whole class/audience. Like, "Why is no one responding?" Things like that. Or being told that people my age shouldn't use certain technology. And certain things in books, like when characters lose their appetites, or when a character gets mad at another for not telling them something personal about themselves. And lots of other things but I won't bother to list them all.

When people think that everyone wants to hear about their kids or grandkids.

I'm NOT interested. These types of people tend to dominate conversations with this topic.

When popular people get all the attention in any situation especially when they are the only thing people talk about.

When things don't go the way I want them to in books or TV shows, I get very upset, and it drives my dad crazy. Every time they get a new doctor or a new companion on Dr. Who, I get angry and frustrated and start ranting, then my dad interrupts and refuses to talk about it any more, which makes me feel invalidated and unheard, which makes me even more upset. I think it's less the small things themselves that bother me, but that everyone I know laughs them off and refuses to acknowledge that I'm trying to explain how I feel, brushing it off dismissively like my emotions are less important just because I get upset over things that don't bother them.

I have a few things like that:

-When my routine is broken, especially if I am not informed in advance.
-When there is rule that makes no logical sense or is enforced for the sake of enforcing it without regard for it's purpose.
-When a work of fiction blatantly disregards the laws of physics.
-When a conversation moves to another topic before I am finished discussing the topic it moved away from.

There are probably more, I just can't think of them right now.

The new ghostbusters movie, everyone's talking about how much it looks like garbage but I think it looks rather ok.

Oh wait I read it backwards.

Taking my spot on the couch or table! That's MY spot! Or leaving my bedroom door open, it is to remain closed at all times!! Touching my sonic collection, small children in general. Motorcycles (although I have met a fair amount of people who dislike motorcycles)

This and "pep-talks". Both basically make me want to kill myself or the speaker. Any form of propaganda too, political or not.

When everyone isn't made to follow the rules and they expect "special" treatment.

When someone sits close to me and starts eating chips or eats chips when talking on the phone.

When a person, despite forensic detailed instruction, can't make a mug of tea properly. In the past, I have smashed up all the mugs & gone an sat in the garden alone because of this. Not so much these days but it's still really annoying :D
