Which name do you like best?

Charlotte
or Samantha

Charlotte is too reminiscent of 'Charlatan', and is liable to be shortened to 'Charlie' as well.

But I think the related names Carlotta, Carla and Carly all sound very nice.

Good points. I like Charlotte because of Charlotte's web; I loved the spider. I like Samantha too (which can be shortened to Sam or Sammy). I like the three syllables of Samantha.

I like Charlotte, because of the spider.
But I also like Samantha, because of the old sitcom "Bewitched".

One thing though, if you don't want your daughter to ever be called "Sam", then don't name her Samantha. There's also some stereotype that she will be tomboyish as well, though I don't know how that could be the reason for anything.

I like both, as well----but, maybe, "Charlotte" a little more, cuz it's less-common.

I think "Charlie" and "Sam" are really cute nicknames!

Charlotte sounds like the sort of name one of those vain celebrity wannabees who appear on Big Brother would have.
Samantha is the sort of name you hope your wife will have.
This :- Images of Samantha is the sort of person who would have the name Samantha.

I don't really like any of them that much, but IMO Charlotte is the better one.
I really like the nickname Sammy though.

I love Bewitched too, I wanted to be like Samantha.

Charlotte is ok, it reminds me of Princess Charlotte. But Samantha is a very pretty name.
