I wear no jewelry except. . .

I have always been fascinated by watches (obsessed?) and wear a great big heavy Citizen chronograph (nearly half a pound!) (I love its weight, and all that it does, and I can watch its second hand).

Yeah, and I am a girl and skinny and It is a bit strange. . .but so am I!

I had no idea such a thing existed!

Me either! Maybe we should design one for aspies. But then we'd all probably not wear it because it would be annoying, bang on the keyboard as we're typing, get wet when we wash hands...

I have a funny story about Jewelery. I was watching an imfomercial about jewelery when I was first diagnosed with Depression and Psychosis. It was 1:30 in the morning and they were talking about how a piece of blue jewelery was unisex and they were going off about blue velvet. They also said that they were making an offer for their special friend, and being the Austin Powers nut that I was at that time, I've thought that they were talking about me. I ran upstairs and into my parents' bedroom and yelled, "Mum! they're selling the last piece of jewelery! I need your Credit Card"! That was nine years ago, back in 1998.

I always wear a watch, and sometimes I'll put on a simple necklace if I have to dress up.

I've had the same pair of 'sleeper' earrings for ages. I had to take them out for an x-ray, and they rattled around in my handbag for about a week before I finally remembered to put them back in. I *do* wear necklaces, mainly big chunky beaded things I make myself, just because my signature style (translation: the only clothes I'll wear :D ) are: jeans, plain coloured t-shirt and matching bead necklace thing. Can't stand bracelets and bangles, or rings. When my last watch died I never got around to replacing it.

In a fit of teenage rebellion, I had my nose pierced years ago. But I let it heal because the point on the end of the stud, the bit that goes inside your nose, is actually very sharp, and I kept accidentally banging my nose and it HURT!

I like necklaces the most. I wish I could get the one like Squall's.

Grimbling - I had my nose pierced three times. I kept taking the stud out because I could not deal with having to clean the snot from the part inside the nose. Then I'd miss it so would get it repierced. Now I know it's not for me - too much upkeep.

Earlobes didn't hurt at all for me. The cartilage piercing was a little painfull, but nothing bad.

I get the feeling that piercings anywhere else would be ridiculously painful though.

The pain of piercing is fleeting, whereas the annoyance of the jewelry is forever.
