Trump will get elected, he will bankrupt America and the world economy will crash, he will then start WW3 and reveal himself to be the antichrist. The end of the world is nigh, oh, and Happy New Year.

The Reapers will return from dark space at the same time as the Brethren Moons, making for a very awkward situation at the end of the world.

During the confusion of their battle for who gets to destroy earth, Jibbers Crabst will reemerge from the volcano in Japan that he entered into two thousand years ago and will do battle against those that bring doom to our world. The outcome of the battle is still unknown.

The Solitary Forager Hypothesis (explanation of autism) will grow legs. They'll find much more increased neuroactivity in the limbic system/amygdala of people with autism, which can be bad, because they'll work on some type of radiation that could shrink the amygdala to make autistic babies "normal."

A few of mine:
- a terror attack on a famous landmark in an Eastern US city;
- NASA will discover more exoplanets including the most evidently Earthlike one yet, but very distant from Earth;
- possible demise of Prince Philip of the UK;
- an unsuccessful assassination attempt on a major world leader;
- continued weird weather phenomena including record high temperatures in many places;
- the rise of a new wannabe messiah / guru who has ulterior motives which would shock his followers;
- major scandal continues to rock Hillary Clinton and she may have to withdraw from the race;
- major landmark in Europe destroyed by fire (possible arson attack);
- suicide of a famous Hollywood actor or actress

time will tell...

a politician will be caught doing what he or she ought not to be doing. and he or she will shamelessly say, "WHAT?!"

Terrorists will attack and kill during least one major public New Year celebration in the world.

Vaccines will be banned in the US. Whooping cough will become an epidemic. Children everywhere will be drowning in their own bodily fluids. My brother had whooping cough when we were little kids. He survived, but it wasn't pretty. It'll be even less pretty soon. Coughing and vomiting constantly... possibly suffering brain damage. Dying. Welp, I guess that's worth not becoming a sperg.

The radiation from the nuclear disaster in Japan will give every single human in North America cancer.

The polar bears and many other species will go extinct from global warming.

The world leaders will have all disabled people killed. We will be forced to wear a "badge of shame" like they made Jewish people do in WW2 so that people will know we are disabled and kill us. When I was a kid I used to hear that all live were precious. I guess not.

Americans will become more and more openly racist until it's just like the early 1900's again. Only worse. Anyone who isn't "pure" will be abused because of hate. Of course the law won't do anything about it, they'll be committing at least at least half of the hate crimes.

Crops will whither, livestock will sicken, clothes will become itchy, everywhere there will be much weeping and wailing, and the only escape will be to blow one's brains out.

next election day 2016 will result in much gnashing of teeth.

The 2016 Presidential election will be an utter disaster both short and long term for America. What the disaster entails will vary greatly depending on how the election unfolds.
At least one presidential candidate will be hurt or killed because of incompetent Secret Service.
Somebody important will be seroiusly hurt or killed in The White House for the same reason.

right off the bat something bad will happen, in the first part of January.
