I admit I used to be very rude to people in customer service. They creeped me out a lot. I think they trigger an uncanny valley effect in me and a bunch of other people. They basically seemed like someone pretending to be human. I know realize that they're forced to act that way a lot of the time. I now try my best to be kind to them.

What I have a hard time forgiving is people who act like that outside of customer service. One of my step sister's ex friends acted like that. That made me instantly dislike her. I didn't say anything because I was scared of being rude. I later found out she likes to beat up people for fun.
