I'm thinking about calling my new mental health caseworker to find out if they think I am on the spectrum or not, because I get afraid to ask. My last doctor said "that diagnosis would not affect your treatment plan" and I've had therapists suggest it without me bringing it up first. But I would like to hear it from the doctor and ask if they think I have why am I not diagnosed, is this reasonable? Does this drive other people crazy or afraid to ask?

Don't call, they will certainly say something like "why don't you come in and talk about it." So just make an appointment, then go in and talk about it.
