I apologise if I'm doing something wrong with my introduction, I'm not sure what to talk about. Here goes nothing...

Hello. I finally joined this site after a month or two of stalking the threads because I must admit, I was too nervous to interact to people on here. Uhh, I'm not exactly comfortable about telling my personal details minus for age and the experiences of being autistic. You are welcome to call me Nick (not exactly my real name), and I'm seventeen. Talking about age, I would rather avoid people around my age because I don't get along with them very well since I'm quite... Tedious? Or so they say. It's rather ironic because some of them have the same hobbies as mine, but I don't get it anyway.

For autism, I was recently diagonsed last year but I don't think the medical professionals explained if I have classic or high functioning autism, or probably Asperger's. My social worker insisted I have high functioning autism but I'm not completely sure about it. Anyway, that shouldn't be a much of a concern.

Aside from all the boring details, shall we get to know what I enjoy doing? My apologies if the list seem too short, but it's because I don't have many interests...

— Video gaming
— Creating games (I study game development in college)
— Roleplaying
— Reading
— Writing
— Astronomy (specifically, astrophysics)
— Geology (My favourite thing to have existed)
— Political discussions

I think that's all...? I do enjoy a lot of physics because they're the most intriguing subject I've done when I was still in school, but I read a lot of text books that are related to it in general.

Alright, that's enough of blabbering. I hope we can talk around the site or something. See you.

Welcome, Nick! There's no need to apologize, you've done everything right. What sorts of things do you enjoy reading and writing?

Sounds like we might get along swimmingly :), I was Geo major for 2 1/2 years before anxiety and depression issues sort of forced me out of my department. Welcome to the site

Thank you! Introductions aren't really my strongest point around, but at least I tried. For reading and writing, it usually revolves either fantasy or horror. Sometimes mystery, because it keeps me on the edge as I'd be dying to know what happens next. How about for you?

Great! Another geologist around! I'd study geology but my college didn't really offer the course and I was limited with options because I had to get some specialist help for few of my disabilities. So it's mainly my best hobby. But it isn't the end of the world because I do games development, which is second on my list.

I like reading almost anything, fantasy, sci-fi, humour, mystery, drama. I want to write a book about a girl with Asperger's.
