Apple to FBI: We aren't complying with U.S. Court Order!
The Federal Judge has canceled the hearing for tomorrow (which the FBI originally requested) and has stayed the order ordering Apple to help the government.

Huh. They were able to crack the code without Apple's help. Like the article says, what does that say about iPhone's security feature? Interesting.

5s and up have special chips that operate the security enclave, preventing hacking.
Apple doesn't have the encryption keys to iOS9+
The U.S. Government and other governments have hundreds of iPhones that are 5s, 6, 6s 6s+ running iOS9+ that are unhackable due to the security chip and enclave
3GS and iPhone original are easily hackable by the FBI these days.
4, 4s, 5, 5c are extremely hard to hack provided they run iOS8+ which was central to this case (harder to hack than the competitors devices).
The company that hacked the phone does hacking on a regular basis for the U.S. and Israeli government and works closely with them.
Apple spent years designing fully encrypted iPhones that aren't hackable which began with iPhone 5s.
Each new iPhone 5s has an improved version of the security chip and enclave, which has stumped even the Chinese government.

Wasn't Apple acting like they would even have to come up with some code to get into the phone themselves? Evidently, Apple wasn't needed to get into this one phone which means I think the company is a big liar. This phone was able to be hacked which means so can others. The safety is not foolproof.

We don't know that the Israeli's did and the FBI and Israeli government had ordered them to stay silent.
There's a very good chance the Israelis wrote some code to do what they did.
But there is also a chance the Israeli company didn't hack the iPhone 5c in question or didn't do anything at all and is being used as a cover to let the FBI and DoJ withdraw the case they were going to lose to prevent an unwanted legal precedent from happening.
There is a very good chance that the county knew the passwords/passcodes all along, since the FBI did order them to change them, in order to take this to court.
Apple offered other ways to the FBI and DoJ, but the FBI and DoJ declined.
The FBI and DoJ submitted writs demanding that the U.S. Federal Courts force Apple to write and give them said code to grant them the ability to unlocked
The FBI and DoJ have hundreds of phones that even the Israeli company in question hasn't been able to hack into and they are iPhone 5s and up.
I mean the FBI and DoJ had a Federal Judge in NYC rule against them, with the Federal Judge claiming he had and the courts had no constitutional authority to order Apple to write code to crack the iPhone 6 in question.
This was 2 weeks ago.
Literally no one has been able to crack iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6s.
With Android M releasing soon, it will employee similar encryption on new Android phones that have the necessary hardware making it impossible for anyone to crack and Google won't have the keys.
With this all said, the FBI and DoJ have ordered that information regarding the case not be released to the public, including what happened causing them to withdraw the order and what is on the iPhone 5c (provided they hacked it).
We can't prove Apple lied here, but we have proof that the FBI and DoJ lied and screwed up causing them to easily lose the case.

Why can't the FBI just get a court order?
Is the IPhone the only one that can't be gotten into? Do Androids do the same? And if Androids don't, why does Apple make their phones like that? And I heard that Iphones never really turn off and that is so information can always be had by your phone from the camera and the speaker - that's why you can't remove the battery.

Steve Jobs had quite a twisted rationale for making Apple products impossible to fully turn off, even in the early days. It had something to do with Jobs's fear of death, he was afraid that God(s) could just flick a switch or something and zap, you're gone. Like in some of those cheap scifi movies where a futuristic weapon could make people vanish without a trace, probably inspired by the "phasers" in Star Trek. So, Jobs never wanted Apple products to "die", instead he made them just "go to sleep" (inspiring the "sleep mode" on PCs, probably) and then they would "wake up" when needed. Apple products were the first "energy vampires", electronic items that are always on and sucking energy. Ironically, when Jobs got cancer, he decided to "cure" it with a special diet, instead of seeing a doctor. By the time he actually saw a doctor, it was too late. Jobs's biological father worked as an assistant manager of a casino well into his 80s. Jobs could still have been leading Apple today if he hadn't been so pigheaded.
That fear is why there was no on/off button or tab on his products
