I had a lot of friends, back in the day, but they slowly started to fade away as they became exposed to my disorder (borderline personality).

Are you getting therapy for your borderline disorder?

Also: as you get older, one tends to have less friends. But the friends you have to tend to be closer friends.

It's common to lose people who are supposedly your friends when they discover that you are different or if you make a bad choice. It goes to show you how real these friends were in the first place.

You must focus on your passions and try to figure out how you can integrate that into your social life.

I have found that it is most important to first be one's own best friend.
