/\Yes,we should.An old friend from HS called and mentioned his dealings with mental health care.He tried to get himself admitted.They asked him if he was going to kill himself or someone else.He said no.So they replied they couldn't help him.This is a disgrace,if he showed up at a hospital complaining of pain he would be admitted,but when he asks for mental health care he is turned away at the door.He has no money or insurance,so he falls thru the cracks in the system.

AFAIC everything in this country is arranged to accomplish a "soft" form of malign neglect bordering on quasi-passive genocide of the bottom socioeconomic groups whom the PTB deem to be deadwood.
