Okay, big big big note: this is mostly meant as a joke. In Game of Thrones, certain things happen all the time and if you are looking for them, it is fun to point them out. I don't actually think you should follow this game but if you can pace yourself and are of age, it can make for a pleasant night.

Rules of the game: take a drink every time one of the following happens. A 'drink' can be a sip or a gulp but keep it consistent and pace yourself. Don't be stupid. Here's what you are looking for:

1. Start of the episode with that great theme music? Take a drink!
2. Whenever someone dies by a bloody wound to the neck/throat area, take a drink! Dire wolves, beheading, slitting, stabbing, it happens a lot in the show.
3. Look at the name of the episode. When the name of the episode makes sense, take a drink. IF the name of the episode is said, take a drink. Example: Season 1, Episode 5 has an encounter between Ned and Jaime have an encounter. It is called "The Wolf and the Lion." Lanisters have the Lion as a sigil and Starks have a wolf as a sigil, the episode makes sense, take a drink! But in the episode "Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things", Tirion flat out states that he has a soft spot of "cripples, bastards, and broken things." Two drinks!
4. Whenever a popular saying, idiom, or house motto is said, take a drink! Examples:
"A Lanister always pays their debts", "We do not sow", "What is dead may never die", "Valar Morghulis", "And now his watch has ended"; basically, if you can say it in the show and have anyone understand what you are saying, take a drink. BONUS! "Winter is coming" is a double drink!
5. "King Fancypants, first of his name, yada yada yada yada bla bla bla" You know what, take a nice slow sip until they shut up about who is rightful king of the Anduls and the such. You are doing to drink a lot when it comes to Daenerys who people cannot stop shouting Mhysa to and has more titles Netflix.

Some things to take note of: the first episode is called "Winter is Coming" and it is uttered about 20 times, 4 drinks each. Yeah, reference the first rule: DON'T be an idiot
