Were not talking about whether or not they teach biology correctly in sunday school.
Were talking about whether or not religions allow the faithful to be open to the notion of an ancient earth that gradually changed over time in some kind of evolutionary process- rather than to continue to indoctrinate the faithful into believing nonsense about the Earth being only 6000 years old.
If a Catholic puts god into evolution at church, but is still allowed to remove god while studying fossils as a scientist and to seek only naturalistic explanations then thats perfectly fine.
